Worthy are you Oh Lord, my God.
The God who is Merciful and Just.
My Defence, my Shelter from the storm.
The God from Whom nothing is hidden.
The LIGHT of my SALVATION.
My Redeemer. Worthy are you LORD.
Hallowed be your name LORD JESUS.
Hope is the engine that drives faith. When hope is lost, it is like removing the silver lining in the sky of dark clouds. Let me put it this way, hope is the oil that lubricates the engine of faith. Hope is an expectation that your faith works to achieve. Without hope faith is empty.
Hope is a catalyst that propels us towards an expected end. Hope is a strength. When we lose hope we die. Our hope of Eternal life sustains us in the journey of the Christian life. It is a lively Hope that is unshakable, founded on the Lord Jesus Christ.
Beloved, the Lord takes pleasure in those that fear Him and put their trust in the Hope of His promises, received by His Mercies. Hope of Eternity with God, continues to keep the faith of the Jesus generation today alive and kicking. Hold on to that Hope in Christ.

The Lord is faithful in His ways even when we are unfaithful. He deals with us according to His predestined Will and purpose for each one of us. He will have mercy on whom He will have mercy. His Sovereignty is beyond questioning. Great indeed are you Oh LORD my God. Thank you for your loving-kindness towards me daily.
I encourage you to surrender to the LORD today and enjoy His ceaseless compassion everyday. He is faithful.

Romans 6: 1-23 – Apostle Paul teaches:
1: What shall we say then? Shall we continue in sin, that grace may abound?
2: God forbid. How shall we, that are dead to sin, live any longer therein?
3: Know ye not, that so many of us as were baptized into Jesus Christ were baptized into his death?
4: Therefore we are buried with him by baptism into death:that like as Christ was raised up from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life.
5: For if we have been planted together in the likeness of his death, we shall be also in the likeness of his resurrection:
6: Knowing this, that our old man is crucified with him, that the body of sin might be destroyed, that henceforth we should not serve sin.
7: For he that is dead is freed from sin.
8: Now if we be dead with Christ, we believe that we shall also live with him:
9: Knowing that Christ being raised from the dead dieth no more; death hath no more dominion over him.
10: For in that he died, he died unto sin once:but in that he liveth, he liveth unto God.
11: Likewise reckon ye also yourselves to be dead indeed unto sin, but alive unto God through Jesus Christ our Lord.
12: Let not sin therefore reign in your mortal body, that ye should obey it in the lusts thereof.
13: Neither yield ye your members as instruments of unrighteousness unto sin:but yield yourselves unto God, as those that are alive from the dead, and your members as instruments of righteousness unto God.
14: For sin shall not have dominion over you:for ye are not under the law, but under grace.
15: What then? shall we sin, because we are not under the law, but under grace? God forbid.
16: Know ye not, that to whom ye yield yourselves servants to obey, his servants ye are to whom ye obey; whether of sin unto death, or of obedience unto righteousness?
17: But God be thanked, that ye were the servants of sin, but ye have obeyed from the heart that form of doctrine which was delivered you.
18: Being then made free from sin, ye became the servants of righteousness. 19: I speak after the manner of men because of the infirmity of your flesh: for as ye have yielded your members servants to uncleanness and to iniquity unto iniquity; even so now yield your members servants to righteousness unto holiness.
20: For when ye were the servants of sin, ye were free from righteousness.
21: What fruit had ye then in those things whereof ye are now ashamed? for the end of those things is death.
22: But now being made free from sin, and become servants to God, ye have your fruit unto holiness, and the end everlasting life.
23: For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord. – (KJV)
Beloved, we therefore cannot frustrate Grace, buy continuing wilfully in sin. He that the son of man sets free, is free indeed in all realms and dominions. We have the power to live above sin and death by the power of the Holy Spirit that dwells in us through Christ Jesus.

This is a very deep prayer although of few words. A prayer from the heart that fears God and is aware of the powerful tools both the mouth and heart are. One of the Christian guidelines is that “with our mouth we confess what we believe in our heart”. Therefore I believe that, whatever the mouth speaks must have been conceived in the heart unless a person is without a “Sound Mind”. Speech is controlled by the tongue and the Bible tells us that “life and death is in the power of the tongue” and who can tame the tongue but the Holy Spirit that teaches All things. The Holy Spirit enables us to exercise self control when the heart, is engineered by the mind to brew unholy thoughts. The Word of God says in Jeremiah 17:9
“The heart is deceitful above all things, and desperately wicked: who can know it”? Our Lord Jesus confirmed this in Mark 7:21 “For from within, out of the heart of men, proceed evil thoughts, adulteries, fornications, murders ….”.
This for me, makes the plea in Psalm 19:14 a very potent prayer, that by the Mercy of God, our spoken and unspoken words will not judge nor speak against us in Jesus name. Amen. For HE says:
“I the LORD search the heart, I try the reins, even to give every man according to his ways, and according to the fruit of his doings”. -Jeremiah 17:10
I pray that the Lord creates in us a new heart, purifying us from a wicked heart and evil thoughts, so that our mouth will confess that which is acceptable to Him and is edifying to man.
